The program functions as a null-modem cable that is connected with 2 physical serial ports. This program supports features like: it is fully functional in the simulator and file modes, it comprises four tabs - Simulator, Settings, Satellites, and WayPoints; can be used with any GPS mapping software, the Settings tab allows to define Start Latitude, Start Longitude, Navigational Parameters, Magnetic Parameters, Dilution of precision, Latitude Steps, Longitude Steps, and much more.
